The Cartoon Cafe was originally established in 1997 as an online e-commerce site called The Aurelin Company. We specialized in new and vintage animation art and collectibles with a unique selection of cartoon cels, autographed baseball memorabilia, Star Trek memorabilia, film cels, comic collecibles, and unusual merchandise from the 1960's through present day.

In 1999, we re-launched the site as The Cartoon Cafe, which seemed to be a more accurate representation of the merchandise we were offering.

In 2000, we quickly became part of the e-commerce site "Yahoo! Stores" and enjoyed success there for quite some time.

Late in 1999, we also discovered ebay. We quickly became hooked on the site and purchased much of our online inventory at auction (when ebay was still an aution site and item numbers were only 8-digits).

When "Ebay Stores" launched, we knew that's where we had to be and you'll find us there today.
